Hi Josey,

Yes, the levels of feedback are still suffering. Some of the diagnoses in particular are as you say out of date and do not reflect on the current status of feed and/or products. We have seen some obviously wrong GTINs live in Shopping and others that are valid being rejected. We find that the unwillngness of Google to support this over the phone is particularly vexing as even with a support ticket, issues seem harder to resolve than necessary. Persistence is key to this, we've found, and once you have a support ticket number, make sure that this is used until your issue is finally resolved

We started building our range on Google two week prior to the announcment of the change, so we immediatle followed the new rules. We only have around 800 items to list, so not a great deal. What we are seeing now is incomplete feedback from google. No central point of viewing issues they have flaged up. Threatning messages were they state we are in error. Crawl error are out of date with no indication when these will be re-crawled by them. Invalid Gtin with no idea why they are wrong, checked with supplier and they are correct according to them, we have no idea how to resolve those. No answer from google on any of the question we asked them directly. Our dashboard showed 1 to 2 invalid products, no idea what they are, then they dissapeared, then they came back again for most of September and today the have gone, No idea what they were and what was wrong. Last year I retired as a computer consultant with 30 years experience in major projects with large retail companies so I find this kind of project management from such a big company incomprehensible..

Ed, Thanks for your post. Yes, the dashboard is a complete nightmare at present. We have seen crawl "errors" sitting on accounts for several weeks not being updated. Worryingly we are seeing rafts of accounts which still show products as being indexed after several days - there are clear problems at Google's end. Best, Richard
