Google have published a communication to announce that they will be rolling out consumer rating annotations which are added onto product search ads. Google have described them as a ‘new format for search ads that provides detailed consumer data’
The idea of these annotations is to make brands more reputable and show ratings and reviews to help improve your ad performance. The consumer ratings are based on surveys completed through Google Consumer Surveys.
These ratings have already started to show on several hundred search ads across the UK.
